William H. Hood, III has served as a member of our Board since March 2012 and, prior to that, served as a director of our predecessor company, UIH, from 2000 to 2008. Mr. Hood has over 30 years of business experience in numerous industries, including company start-ups, operations, sales/marketing and problem solving. In 1984, Mr. Hood formed Special Data Processing Corporation, a national partnership marketing company, and served as its Chief Executive Officer ("CEO") and Chairman from 1984 to 2006. Mr. Hood sold the company in 1999 to a private equity firm, and he continued to manage the company until he retired in 2006. Mr. Hood is Manager of Hall Capital Holdings LLC which manages his investments and entrepreneurial interests. Our Board selected Mr. Hood to serve on our Board based upon his prior experience with UIH and his entrepreneurial experience in building and forming a national marketing company.
