Mark C. Lindgren is the Executive Vice President, Communications and Chief Human Resources Officer at Ameren Services, a key subsidiary of Ameren Corporation, one of the largest investor-owned utilities in the United States. With more than 25 years of progressive experience in human resources, communications, and organizational leadership, Lindgren joined Ameren in 2001 as a Human Resources Business Partner. He advanced rapidly through roles such as Director of Labor Relations, Vice President of Human Resources Operations, and Senior Vice President of Human Resources, building a reputation for fostering high-performance cultures and navigating complex labor environments in the energy sector. In his current dual role, Lindgren leads Ameren's enterprise-wide human resources strategy, overseeing talent management, compensation, benefits, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and employee engagement for over 9,000 associates across multiple states. He also directs the communications function, managing media relations, corporate branding, crisis communications, and stakeholder outreach to support Ameren's mission of clean energy delivery and customer service excellence. Under his stewardship, Ameren has achieved notable milestones, including top rankings in employee satisfaction surveys, recognition as a Best Place to Work by Forbes, and enhanced DEI programs that have diversified leadership representation by 30% since 2018. Lindgren holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Missouri and a Master of Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis.
