Trevor I. Mihalik serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of American Electric Power (AEP), one of the largest investor-owned electric utilities in the United States, serving more than 5 million customers across 11 states. Appointed to this role in May 2022, Mihalik oversees all aspects of AEP's financial operations, including financial planning and analysis, controllership, treasury, tax, investor relations, risk management, and corporate services. With over two decades of experience in finance and accounting, he plays a pivotal role in driving the company's long-term financial strategy, supporting its transition to cleaner energy sources, and ensuring robust governance amid regulatory and market challenges. A Certified Public Accountant, Mihalik holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from The Ohio State University and a Master of Business Administration from Capital University.
