Camille L. Bedrosian, M.D., is a seasoned physician-executive with over 25 years of experience in clinical development, regulatory strategy, and medical affairs across neurology, oncology, and rare diseases. She earned her medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School and completed her residency in internal medicine at UMass Memorial Medical Center, where she developed a strong foundation in patient-centered care and translational medicine. Early in her career, Dr. Bedrosian held progressive roles at Pfizer and Novartis, rising to Senior Vice President of Global Clinical Development in Neuroscience and Ophthalmology at Novartis, where she oversaw the advancement of multiple investigational therapies, including those targeting Alzheimer's disease and other neurodegenerative conditions. Prior to joining Amylyx, Dr. Bedrosian served as Executive Vice President and Head of Global Clinical Development at Celgene Corporation (now part of Bristol Myers Squibb), leading cross-functional teams in the development of breakthrough therapies for hematologic malignancies and solid tumors. Her strategic leadership contributed to several successful regulatory submissions and approvals, earning her recognition as a key innovator in biotech. Notably, she has authored numerous publications and presented at major international conferences, bridging academia and industry to accelerate drug discovery. As Chief Medical Officer at Amylyx Pharmaceuticals Inc. since 2021, Dr. Bedrosian directs the company's clinical pipeline, with a focus on amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and other devastating neurodegenerative diseases. She played a pivotal role in the FDA approval of RELYVRIO™ (sodium phenylbutyrate/taurursodiol), Amylyx's first commercial product for ALS, and continues to spearhead global clinical trials and partnerships to expand therapeutic options.
