Ms. Alvord served as President, Central Division of Vulcan Materials Company, a producer of construction aggregates and aggregates-based construction materials and member of the S&P 500 Index, from 2019 until 2021. She joined Vulcan in 2016 and served as Vice President, Performance Management from 2016 to 2017 and President of the Southern & Gulf Coast and Central Divisions from 2017 to 2021.
