Michael Beckley is a Founder of Appian and has served as our Chief Technology Officer since 2007 and as a member of our Board of Directors since November 2024. Mr. Beckley serves on the Board of the Northern Virginia Technology Council ( the NVTC ), one of the largest technology councils in the nation, on the Board of Advisors of the Center for a New American Security. Mr. Beckley holds a B.A. in Government from Dartmouth College. Our Board of Directors believes Mr. Beckley s technical and business expertise and his insight into technology matters as our Chief Technology Officer qualify him to serve on our Board of Directors.
