Joseph L. (Jay) Hooley has been a director since January 2020. Mr. Hooley is the former Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of State Street Corporation, one of the world s leading providers of financial services to institutional investors, including investment servicing, investment management and investment research and trading. He served as State Street s Chairman from 2011 to 2019, its Chief Executive Officer from 2010 to 2018, and its President and Chief Operating Officer from 2008 to 2014. From 2002 to 2008, he served as Executive Vice President and head of State Street s Investor Services Division, and, in 2006, he was appointed Vice Chairman and Global Head of State Street s Investment Servicing and Investment Research and Trading. Mr. Hooley has a bachelor s degree from Boston College. QUALIFICATIONS: Mr. Hooley s long tenure as a public company executive leading and transforming a global financial services organization, including his extensive experience with institutional investors through his role as Chairman and CEO of State Street, provides the Board with significant expertise in management, strategic planning and corporate governance, as well as a global business perspective, and his unique background helps the Board better understand investors points of view and ensures those perspectives are incorporated into Board discussions with management on important strategic topics.
