Earlier in her career, she practiced corporate law at Dorsey & Whitney LLP, advising clients on energy transactions and financings. Gunning holds a J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School and a B.A. from the University of St. Thomas, and she is admitted to practice in Minnesota and New York.
