Ms. Johnson has served as one of our directors since March 2017. Ms. Johnson was most recently President and Managing General Partner of Affinity Capital Management, a venture capital firm focused on seed and early-stage healthcare investments, a role she held from 2000 to 2024. Previously, Ms. Johnson spent seventeen years at Medtronic, Inc., where she served in several leadership roles, including Chief Administrative Officer and President and General Manager of both the Vascular and Tachyarrhythmia Management businesses. She currently serves as a director for ClearPoint Neuro, Inc., formerly MRI Interventions, a publicly traded med-tech company. She previously served on the boards of several public companies, including Piper Jaffray Group, Inc. (now Piper Sandler), Paragon28, Inc.; ViewRay, Inc.; Spectranetics, Inc.; ADC Telecommunications, Inc. and Pentair, Inc. Ms. Johnson received her B.A. from St. Olaf College. In 2018, Ms. Johnson was a NACD Directorship 100 Honoree and in 2025 she was recognized by Board Prospects as one of the 100 Women Leaders in the Boardroom . Ms. Johnson has extensive experience in both the healthcare industry and the venture capital business, with the medical device industry being one of the primary areas of focus. Her deep ties to the healthcare and venture capital industries, as well as the significant experience she has from other public company boards, provide the Board with valuable insights and knowledge, particularly in matters related to mergers and acquisitions, executive compensation, corporate governance and medical technology.
