David Rosenbloom serves as Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Baxter International Inc., a global leader in medtech solutions for critical care, kidney care, and other essential therapies. In this capacity, he oversees the company's worldwide legal organization, managing a broad spectrum of responsibilities including corporate governance, regulatory compliance, intellectual property protection, commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and litigation. Rosenbloom provides strategic legal guidance to Baxter's executive leadership and board of directors, helping navigate complex global regulatory environments and supporting the company's mission to save and sustain lives through innovative healthcare products. Prior to joining Baxter in 2014 as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, Rosenbloom built a distinguished career in healthcare law. He spent more than a decade at Abbott Laboratories, rising to Divisional General Counsel for the Diabetes Care, Nutrition, and Vascular businesses, where he led legal teams through major product launches, supply chain initiatives, and high-stakes regulatory matters. Earlier, as a partner at Sidley Austin LLP, he specialized in healthcare regulatory compliance, M&A transactions, and corporate advisory services for life sciences clients. Under Rosenbloom's leadership, Baxter has successfully executed transformative deals, including the $12.4 billion acquisition of Hillrom, while strengthening enterprise risk management and compliance programs in an increasingly scrutinized industry. His expertise has been pivotal in fostering ethical business practices, driving innovation, and resolving complex litigation, earning him recognition as a key architect of Baxter's legal resilience and growth strategy. Rosenbloom holds a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.
