AJIT JAIN , age 74, has been a director of the Corporation and the Corporation s Vice Chairman Insurance Operations since 2018. Mr. Jain has been employed by the Berkshire Hathaway Insurance Group since 1986 and has been an Executive Vice President of National Indemnity Company, a wholly owned Berkshire subsidiary, since 1996. Additional Qualifications: Ajit Jain brings to the Board his 39 years of experience in managing Berkshire s reinsurance operations, one of its most important businesses. During this period he has been responsible for overseeing the assessment and pricing of many of the largest and most complex risks ever insured and as a result generating billions of dollars of capital for deployment by the Corporation.
