At Hertz, Ferraro ascended rapidly through executive positions, including President of the U.S. Car Rental Division and ultimately President and CEO of Hertz Global Holdings, Inc. from 2007 to 2010. In December 2011, Ferraro was appointed President and CEO of Avis Budget Group, Inc., succeeding Ronald L. Nelson.
