Ann Yee Kono is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Leda Advisory Group ( Leda ), a management consulting firm that partners with asset managers to advise on growth and scale. Ms. Kono also serves as an independent director (since December 2020) and an audit committee member (since June 2021) for Sabra Health Care REIT, a fund serving the healthcare industry, and was appointed as an independent director at Siepe, LLC, an asset management enterprise software firm in July 2022. Prior to founding Leda, Ms. Kono spent 11 years at Ares Management Corporation, a global alternative investment manager operating in the credit, private equity and real estate markets, where she held the position of Chief Information and Risk Officer and oversaw operational, investment and enterprise risks, and as Chief Technology Officer and Head of Operations prior to that. Ms. Kono previously served on the board of directors of Stable Road Acquisition Company from 2019 to 2021. Ms. Kono has over 25 years of experience in the finance industry focused on operational scale and digital transformation. She holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance. Ms. Kono is also a co-founder and board member of TeachAAPI, a non-profit organization with the mission to raise Asian American and Pacific Islander-related cultural and racial awareness that fosters understanding, empathy and dismantle bias, thereby creating a more inclusive community where all perspectives are valued and respected that will shape future leaders and create generational change for years to come.
