Craig S. Joining Cboe in 1995 as a systems specialist, Donohue rapidly advanced through key technical and operational roles, including Vice President of Technology, Chief Information Officer, and Chief Operating Officer. His deep expertise in exchange technology and operations laid the foundation for his leadership in transforming Cboe into a global powerhouse. During his first tenure as CEO from 2006 to 2013, Donohue orchestrated the demutualization of the Chicago Board Options Exchange and guided its landmark initial public offering in 2010, unlocking new capital for growth amid the global financial crisis. He drove innovation in products like VIX futures and options, expanded international reach, and enhanced trading infrastructure, significantly boosting revenue and market share.
