Mr. Chapman has served as a Director of Coastal Financial Corporation since March 2026 and serves on the Technology Committee and CCBX Oversight Committee. He currently serves as Field Chief Technology Officer and Head of Partnership Engineering at Vectara, Inc., an artificial intelligence technology company, a position he has held since 2024. Prior to joining Vectara, Mr. Chapman served as Managing Director and Bank Chief Technology Officer for UBS Bank USA from 2022 to 2024. Previously, he served as Chief Information Officer of Global Retail Banking at ING Bank from 2016 to 2021. Earlier in his career, Mr. Chapman held senior technology roles at Capital One Financial Corporation and ING Direct USA. Mr. Chapman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles. Qualifications: The Company believes that Mr. Chapman provides the Board of Directors with important experience and insight into banking technology, digital transformation and artificial intelligence, and is well qualified to continue serving on the Board of Directors.
