Aunoy Banerjee serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Citizens Financial Group, Inc., a leading regional bank headquartered in Providence, Rhode Island. In this pivotal role since June 2021, he oversees the company's comprehensive finance organization, including financial planning and analysis, treasury, tax, investor relations, corporate development, and accounting. Prior to joining Citizens, Banerjee built a distinguished career in finance and strategy. Earlier at State Street, he led corporate development, spearheading strategic acquisitions, divestitures, and partnerships that enhanced the company's global footprint. His tenure also included roles in enterprise risk management and financial planning. Before State Street, Banerjee was a Principal in Deloitte's financial advisory practice, advising major financial institutions on mergers, capital raising, and restructuring. Banerjee's leadership has been instrumental in navigating Citizens through post-pandemic recovery, optimizing the balance sheet, and executing shareholder-friendly initiatives such as share repurchases and dividends.
