Matthew Moschner serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Cognex Corporation, a global leader in machine vision systems and industrial automation solutions. With over two decades of experience in high-tech industries, Moschner joined Cognex in 2016 as Senior Vice President of Products and Marketing, where he drove innovation in the company's vision software and deep learning technologies. He advanced rapidly to Executive Vice President and President of the Machine Vision segment in 2018, before assuming the CEO role in September 2020. His leadership has positioned Cognex at the forefront of AI-enabled vision systems, expanding the company's market reach and enhancing its competitive edge in factory automation. Prior to Cognex, Moschner held pivotal executive positions at PTC Inc., including Executive Vice President and General Manager of ThingWorx, the industrial Internet of Things platform, where he spearheaded product strategy and customer adoption. Earlier in his career, he served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Rental & Leasing Solutions business unit at Infor, scaling operations and delivering multimillion-dollar revenue growth. Moschner holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Rochester's Simon School of Business. Under Moschner's stewardship, Cognex has achieved significant milestones, including record revenues, strategic acquisitions, and the launch of groundbreaking products like the In-Sight D900 series, which leverages edge-based deep learning for smarter inspections.
