Jay Schroeder is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at CNH Industrial N.V., a multinational leader in agricultural and construction equipment. With more than 25 years of experience in the agriculture industry, he has dedicated his career to pioneering precision farming technologies and digital transformation. Schroeder holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and began his professional journey at CNH Industrial in 2005, rising through key engineering and product development roles within its legacy brands, Case IH and New Holland Agriculture. Prior to his CTO appointment in 2021, he served as Vice President of Precision Agriculture and Data Management, where he expanded the company’s portfolio of connected machinery and data analytics solutions. Under Schroeder’s leadership, CNH Industrial has achieved significant milestones in autonomous vehicles, artificial intelligence, and sustainable farming innovations. He has driven the development of advanced systems like the CNH Industrial Autonomous Specialist vehicle and enhanced telematics platforms that optimize farm operations and reduce environmental impact. His efforts have earned industry recognition, including awards for precision ag advancements, and have positioned the company at the forefront of Industry 4.0 in agriculture. As CTO, Schroeder oversees a global R&D network spanning multiple continents, fostering partnerships with startups, universities, and tech leaders to accelerate electrification, autonomy, and data-driven decision-making. His strategic vision emphasizes human-machine collaboration and farmer-centric technologies to address global food security challenges while promoting sustainability.
