Nicholas J. Dellulis is a seasoned energy executive with over two decades of experience in the oil and natural gas industry. He joined CNX Resources Corp. in 2014 as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, bringing expertise from prior roles at Rice Energy, where he served as CFO, and earlier positions at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Deloitte. Under his financial stewardship at CNX, the company navigated complex market dynamics, optimizing its capital structure and positioning itself as a leading producer in the Appalachian Basin. In 2017, Dellulis advanced to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, overseeing operational excellence and strategic growth initiatives. He ascended to President and Chief Executive Officer in May 2018, leading CNX through a transformative period marked by significant debt reduction—from over $2.5 billion to nearly debt-free status—enhanced drilling efficiencies, and a sharpened focus on high-return Marcellus Shale assets. His leadership drove record production levels, bolstered shareholder returns through dividends and buybacks, and positioned CNX as a low-cost, pure-play natural gas leader amid volatile energy markets. Dellulis retired from his role as President and CEO in April 2021, leaving a legacy of financial discipline, operational innovation, and sustainable value creation. His tenure solidified CNX Resources' competitive edge, earning industry recognition for its peer-leading returns on capital and environmental stewardship in natural gas development.
