With over two decades of experience in corporate law, DuChene brings a proven track record from senior roles in the blockchain and energy sectors. Prior to joining Core Scientific in 2022, he was General Counsel at Riot Blockchain, Inc. (2021–2022) and Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary at Greenidge Generation Holdings Inc. (2020–2021). Earlier, as a Partner in the Capital Markets and Mergers & Acquisitions groups at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP, he advised public companies on high-stakes securities offerings, IPOs, and M&A deals. DuChene's notable achievements include steering multiple cryptocurrency mining firms through public listings, complex financings, and regulatory scrutiny, enhancing governance frameworks and mitigating risks in volatile markets.
