Jonathan P. Bana serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Cooper Standard Holdings Inc., a global leader in sealing, connecting, and fluid transfer systems for the automotive industry. Appointed in April 2021, he oversees the company's comprehensive financial operations, including strategic planning, treasury management, tax strategy, investor relations, and risk mitigation. Under his leadership, Cooper Standard has strengthened its financial position through disciplined cost management, debt reduction, and enhanced liquidity, enabling the company to navigate supply chain challenges and pursue growth opportunities in electric and autonomous vehicle technologies. Prior to Cooper Standard, Mr. Bana was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Clarios LLC, the world's largest producer of automotive batteries, from 2019 to 2021, where he spearheaded financial transformations during the company's spin-off from Johnson Controls. His career also includes progressive finance roles at Johnson Controls International plc, including Vice President Finance for North America Automotive Experience, and at Tower International Inc., where he managed global financial planning and supported successful mergers and acquisitions. These experiences have equipped him with deep expertise in operational finance, capital markets, and international business strategy. A graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance, Mr. Bana also holds an MBA from the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business. His proven track record in driving profitability and shareholder value has been instrumental in positioning Cooper Standard for long-term success amid industry disruptions.
