Scott D. Farmer joined Cintas in 1981. He has held the positions of Vice President National Account Division, Vice President Marketing and Merchandising, Rental Division Group Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. He was elected Chief Executive Officer in July 2003. Mr. Farmer was appointed Chairman of the Board in September 2016, and upon his retirement as Chief Executive Officer in May 2021, he was appointed Executive Chairman of the Board. The Board believes that Mr. Farmer's breadth of knowledge and experience in the areas of marketing, business development and corporate strategy, as well as his familiarity with all aspects of Cintas' business, render his service on the Board extremely beneficial to Cintas.
