Between 2011 through 2014, Dr. Looney served as business coordinator and interim vice president for academic affairs at Colorado Mountain College. From 2014 2018, she was the dean of instruction at then the senior vice president of academic affairs/provost at Redding Area Community College. She is the chair of the Reading Hospital Board of Trustees and serves on the boards of Berks Latino Workforce Development, Executive Committee of the United Way of Berks County, the Greater Reading Chamber Alliance, and the Greater Berks Development Fund. Nationally, she is a board member of the American Association of Community Colleges and is the vice chair and member of the Executive Committee for the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. Dr. Looney earned an Associate s Degree from Brookdale Community College and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and an MBA from Monmouth University.
