Mr. Pegram has been a partner in the Carson Valley Inn in Minden, Nevada since June 2009 and a partner in the Bodines Casino in Carson City, Nevada since January 2007. Mr. Pegram is the managing member of G PEG I, LLC, which owns and operates six casinos in the Reno and Carson City area. Mr. Pegram has more than 45 years of experience owning and operating 25 successful McDonald s franchises through AMT Investments. Mr. Pegram is the former Chairman of the Thoroughbred Owners of California and has been the owner of a number of racehorses, including 1998 Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes winner, Real Quiet, 2010 Preakness Stakes winner, Lookin at Lucky, 1998 Breeders Cup Juvenile Fillies winner and 1999 Kentucky Oaks winner, Silverbulletday, 2001 Dubai World Cup winner, Captain Steve, and the 2007 and 2008 Breeders Cup Sprint winner, Midnight Lute. Additionally, Mr. Pegram served as a director of Skagit State Bancorp from April 1997 to November 2018.
