Dr. Read has served as a member of our Board of Directors since May 2025. Dr. Read has served as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence of Atlas Venture since June 2020. Dr. Read was also the founder of Mariana Oncology, and served as its Chief Executive Officer, President and a member of the board of directors from January 2021 until its acquisition by Novartis AG in May 2024, remaining in position until February 2025. Dr. Read co-founded Triana Biomedicines and served as a member of its board of directors from January 2022 to February 2024. Dr Read is also currently Chairman of the Board for Ethyreal Bio. From April 2016 to April 2021, he served as the Chief Scientific Officer at Ra Pharma (Nasdaq: RARX) until it was acquired by UCB Pharma. Dr Read has more than 25 years of R&D experience, including leadership roles at GlaxoSmithKline, AstraZeneca and Roche/Genentech. He has worked on the clinical development of some of the most widely used drugs in the industry including Rituxan and Actemra. Mr. Read was also a Scientific Advisory Board member of Q32 Bio (Nasdaq: QTTB) until February 2025 and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine. He obtained his Ph.D. from University of Hertfordshire and studied Physiology (BSc) at the University of Manchester. We believe that Dr. Read is qualified to serve on the Board based on his extensive executive leadership experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, as well as his experience as a director on public boards of directors.
