Nicole M. Iannacone serves as Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, and Corporate Secretary for Enterprise Financial Services Corp (EFSC) and its primary banking subsidiary, Enterprise Bank & Trust (EB&T). In this pivotal role, she provides strategic legal guidance to the executive team and board of directors, overseeing all aspects of corporate governance, regulatory compliance, risk management, and litigation. Nicole acts as the key liaison with regulatory agencies such as the Federal Reserve, FDIC, and OCC, while managing relationships with external counsel to support the company's growth initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, and capital markets activities. Her leadership ensures EFSC's adherence to evolving financial regulations, safeguarding the organization's reputation and operational integrity. With over 20 years of experience in banking and financial services law, Nicole joined EFSC in October 2021 from Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP, where she was a partner in the firm's Banking & Finance practice group. There, she advised national and regional banks, thrifts, and financial institutions on complex transactions, including bank mergers, securities offerings, executive compensation, and regulatory matters. Her expertise spans FDIC-assisted transactions, de novo bank formations, and FinTech partnerships, earning her recognition as a leading attorney in banking law by Chambers USA and Best Lawyers in America. Under Nicole's tenure, EFSC has successfully executed strategic expansions, including the 2023 acquisition of Reliance Bank, which significantly broadened its footprint in the St. Louis market. She holds a J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law and a B.A. from the University of Missouri, and is admitted to practice in Missouri and Illinois. Nicole also serves on the board of directors for the Missouri Bankers Association and is actively involved in community initiatives focused on financial literacy and women's leadership in banking.
