Robert VanHimbergen is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Elanco Animal Health Inc., a leading global provider of innovative animal health solutions. Prior to joining Elanco, VanHimbergen held progressively senior roles at Eli Lilly, culminating in positions such as CFO of the Bio-Medicines Business Unit, Vice President of Finance for the Diabetes & Obesity franchise, and Controller for U.S. Marketing and Medical Affairs. He played a key role in Lilly's financial strategies during major product launches, portfolio optimizations, and the preparation for Elanco's initial public offering and spin-off. Earlier in his career at Lilly, starting in 1996, he managed global finance operations and supported M&A activities, honing his expertise in operational finance and risk management. A Certified Public Accountant, VanHimbergen earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Indiana University. His proven track record in fostering financial discipline and innovation has positioned Elanco for long-term success, enhancing shareholder value while advancing the company's mission to improve animal health and food security worldwide.
