O. Temple Sloan, III, 66, is the former Chief Executive Officer and President of General Parts, Inc., the largest privately-owned auto parts supplier in the United States, which owned and operated more than 3,100 Carquest Auto Parts stores and over 80 WORLDPAC branches in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. Mr. Sloan is currently a director and audit committee chairman of Golden Corral Corporation, and previously served as a director of Advance Auto Parts, Inc. and the Car Care Council. He is currently a member of The University of North Carolina Board of Governors, and is a former member of the Board of Trustees of Northwood University. Mr. Sloan has served on our Board since 2015. Mr. Sloan brings to our Board business leadership, innovation, executive decision making and oversight skills as a result of 30 years of experience in a commercial business.
