Mr. Fisher is the President, Chief Financial Officer of Public Storage (2026 to present), a publicly traded real estate investment trust that primarily acquires, develops, owns, and operates self-storage facilities. Prior to that, Mr. Fisher served as the President (2022 2025), Chief Financial Officer (2017 2025) and Chief Investment officer (2025) of UDR, Inc., a publicly traded real estate investment trust focused on managing, buying, selling, developing and redeveloping multifamily properties in targeted U.S. markets. Before joining UDR, Mr. Fisher held various positions at Deutsche Asset and Wealth Management (now known as DWS), a global asset management firm, where he held various roles, including Co-Head of the Americas and Co-Lead Portfolio Manager (2007 2016), Associate, Structured Debt Investments (2005 2007) and Portfolio Analyst, Portfolio Management Group (2004 2006). Mr. Fisher began his career as an Asset Management Analyst for Principal Real Estate Advisors (2003 2004). Mr. Fisher received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Iowa and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Mr. Fisher has been designated by the Board as an audit committee financial expert in accordance with the SEC definition. Skills and Qualifications Mr. Fisher has extensive experience in public company and real estate financing and investment and expertise in the multifamily apartment industry. His financial and investment acumen, experience as a public real estate investment trust executive and deep knowledge of the multifamily industry provide a multitude of valuable insights into areas critical for our success.
