John M. Reilly is a seasoned executive in the theme park and entertainment industry with over three decades of experience. He began his career at Six Flags Entertainment Corp. in 1994, rising through the ranks to become President of Domestic Park Operations by 2003, where he oversaw operations for the company's U.S. parks during a period of significant growth and expansion. After leaving Six Flags, Reilly joined The Walt Disney Company, serving as Executive Vice President of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, responsible for global operations, guest experiences, and strategic initiatives across Disney's theme parks worldwide. His tenure at Disney honed his expertise in innovative guest services, operational efficiency, and large-scale entertainment projects. In 2019, Reilly returned to the regional theme park sector as President and Chief Operating Officer at Cedar Fair Entertainment Company, where he led efforts to enhance park performance, implement digital innovations, and drive record attendance and revenue growth amid the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. His achievements at Cedar Fair included optimizing supply chain operations and launching new attractions that boosted guest satisfaction scores. Reilly rejoined Six Flags in November 2021 as President and Chief Executive Officer, steering the company through its merger with Cedar Fair to form Six Flags Entertainment Corporation in 2024. Under his leadership, Six Flags has focused on operational excellence, new ride investments, and expanding membership programs, positioning the company as a leader in family entertainment with a portfolio of 27 parks across North America.
