Daniel P. During his tenure at Roche, O’Day played a pivotal role in the development and global expansion of the company's pharmaceutical division, overseeing the launch of several blockbuster drugs and significantly increasing the company’s revenue. As CEO of Gilead Sciences, O’Day has been instrumental in steering the company through a period of transformation and growth. Under his leadership, Gilead has expanded its research and development efforts, focusing on therapeutic areas such as virology, oncology, and inflammation. O’Day has also been a strong advocate for improving access to medicines, particularly in underserved communities, and has led initiatives to enhance Gilead’s global health programs. His strategic vision has helped Gilead strengthen its portfolio and position the company as a leader in the biopharmaceutical industry. In addition to his corporate responsibilities, O’Day is actively involved in various industry and community organizations.
