W. Wesley Perry has served as a director and the Lead Independent Director of Genie since October 2011. He has also served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Genie Energy International Corporation since September 2009. Mr. Perry served as a director of IDT Corporation from September 2010 to October 2011. Mr. Perry has owned and operated S.E.S. Investments, Ltd., an oil and gas investment company, since 1993. He has served as CEO of E.G.L. Resources, Inc. since July 2008 and served as its President from 2003 to July 2008.
