Most recently, he was Vice President of Commercial Operations at Liquidia Corporation, where he spearheaded the U.S. launch of YUTREPIA (treprostinil) inhalation powder for PAH and pulmonary hypertension associated with interstitial lung disease (PH-ILD), achieving rapid market access and strong initial uptake. Previously, at Actelion Pharmaceuticals (a Janssen company), he led North American commercial teams, contributing to blockbuster growth for Opsumit and Uptravi, and at United Therapeutics, he built high-performing sales organizations that expanded market share in cardiopulmonary therapies. Robert's achievements include multiple successful product launches generating over $1 billion in peak annual sales, strategic partnerships with payers and key opinion leaders, and building agile commercial infrastructures in competitive rare disease landscapes. A results-oriented leader with an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BS in Biology from the University of Richmond, Robert is passionate about delivering innovative medicines to underserved patients and continues to position Gossamer Bio for sustainable growth.
