Bert C. Nappier serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Genuine Parts Company (GPC), a Fortune 500 distributor of automotive and industrial parts with operations worldwide. With more than 25 years of progressive finance leadership, Nappier joined GPC in 2005 as Vice President of Finance for GPC North America, following nearly a decade at The Home Depot, Inc., where he advanced to Vice President of Finance for U.S. Retail Services. Earlier in his career, he worked as a senior auditor at Ernst & Young, building a strong foundation in financial reporting, auditing, and strategic planning. Nappier's rapid ascent at GPC included roles as Senior Vice President and CFO of the North American Automotive Group before his promotion to EVP and CFO in 2016. His tenure has been marked by key achievements, including overseeing transformative acquisitions such as EIS, Inc. in 2021, which expanded GPC's industrial footprint, and navigating economic challenges to deliver robust financial results, including consistent revenue growth and shareholder returns through dividends and share repurchases. In his current role, Nappier leads GPC's global finance organization, encompassing financial planning and analysis, accounting, treasury, tax, risk management, and investor relations. His strategic oversight has fortified GPC's balance sheet, supported investments in digital transformation and supply chain resilience, and positioned the company for sustained long-term growth in a competitive market.
