Dave Hartzell is the Steven D. Bell and Leonard W. Wood Distinguished Professor in Real Estate at the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School. Prior to joining the University of North Carolina in 1988, Dave was a vice president at Salomon Brothers Inc., a research associate for The Urban Institute and a financial economist for the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of Currency. He is a former president of the American Real Estate and Urban Economics Association. Dave is not a director of any other publicly-traded company. The board recommends a vote FOR Dave given his expertise related to real estate portfolios, real estate finance and mortgage-backed securities and experience in real estate investment banking.
