Mr. Melvin has served as our President, Chief Executive Officer, and a member of our Board of Directors since November 2022. Mr. Melvin has over twenty years of experience in the natural resources sector as a senior corporate development professional and investment banker. Prior to joining Ivanhoe Electric, Mr. Melvin served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Battery Metals Streaming Corp. from March 2022 to August 2022. Prior to that, Mr. Melvin served as Vice President, Corporate Development of Freeport-McMoRan Inc.
