Mr. Venables, 71, served as the President and CEO and as a director of Benjamin Franklin Bancorp, lnc. and its wholly owned subsidiary Benjamin Franklin Bank from 2002 until 2009, when Benjamin Franklin Bancorp, lnc. was merged with and into the Company.
