He later joined GlobalFoundries as Senior Vice President of Logic Technology Development, spearheading the 7nm and 5nm platform developments, which earned industry recognition for rapid innovation and yield optimization. His tenure at GlobalFoundries solidified his expertise in high-volume manufacturing of leading-edge nodes, complemented by over 50 patents in areas like FinFET scaling, interconnects, and process integration. At Intel, Chandrasekaran has accelerated the company's foundry ambitions, forging key partnerships and investments exceeding $20 billion to enhance fabrication capabilities across Ohio, Arizona, and Europe. His strategic vision emphasizes resilient supply chains, AI-driven process control, and sustainable manufacturing, earning accolades such as IEEE Fellow status and contributions to JEDEC standards.
