Mr. Maynard serves as Chair of the Audit Committee. He is the current chief financial officer of Foghorn Therapeutics, Inc., and the former chief financial officer of other public companies, most recently Cara Therapeutics, Inc., where he served in that role from 2022-2025, and Rigel Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where he served in that role for more than 10 years. Because of his knowledge of financial, audit and accounting matters, our Board of Directors has designated him as the audit committee financial expert of the Audit Committee. He is an independent director under The Nasdaq Stock Market LLC Rules.
