Mr. Connor retired as executive chairman of The Sherwin-Williams Company, a global manufacturer of paint, architectural coatings, industrial finishes, and associated supplies, in December 2016. Mr. Connor joined The Sherwin-Williams Company in 1983 and served as its chairman and chief executive officer from 2000 to 2015 before assuming the role of executive chairman in 2016. Having served as CEO and executive chairman of The Sherwin-Williams Company, Mr. Connor brings significant senior management experience and strong financial expertise to the Board. He understands the various issues facing a large, global manufacturing company, including operational, financial, and strategic issues.
