Bruce Bodaken has served as a member of our Board of Directors since July 2017. Mr. Bodaken previously served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Blue Shield of California, where he was responsible for strategy and management of California s third largest insurer. He served as Blue Shield of California s President and Chief Operating Officer from January 1996 to December 2000. Mr. Bodaken was previously a member of the faculty of the University of California, Berkeley in the Department of Public Health, and a visiting fellow at the Brookings Institution, focused on value-based care. Mr. Bodaken has previously served on the Board of Directors of Rite Aid Corporation from May 2013 to August 2024. Mr. Bodaken holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Colorado State University and a M.A. in Philosophy from the University of Colorado. We believe that Mr. Bodaken is qualified to serve as a member of our Board of Directors because of his extensive business and leadership experience in the healthcare industry.
