Donald DeFosset, Jr. retired in 2005 as Chairman, President & Chief Executive Officer of Walter Industries, Inc., a diversified formerly public company with principal operating businesses in homebuilding and home financing, water transmission products and energy services. Mr. DeFosset had served since November 2000 as President & CEO, and since March 2002 as Chairman, of Walter Industries. Over his career, Mr. DeFosset held significant leadership positions in major multinational corporations, including Dura Automotive Systems, Inc., Navistar International Corporation and AlliedSignal, Inc.
