Earlier in his career, he served as Controller and Vice President of Finance at prominent financial firms, honing his expertise in audit, risk management, and mergers and acquisitions. Kent's achievements include successfully guiding multiple institutions through economic downturns, optimizing cost structures to improve profitability, and facilitating equity offerings that fueled expansion. Under Kent's stewardship, John Marshall Bancorp has achieved consistent profitability, strong capital ratios, and recognition for financial excellence, including high marks from regulatory examiners and industry analysts.
