Amir V. Vexler is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Centrus Energy Corp. (NYSE American: LEU), a trusted supplier of nuclear fuel components and services to the global nuclear power industry. With over 25 years of experience in the nuclear sector, Vexler joined Centrus in 2014 as Vice President of Sales and Marketing, where he quickly established himself as a key leader in commercial operations. Prior to Centrus, he held senior roles at BWX Technologies, including Vice President of Nuclear Fuels, and at Framatome (formerly Areva), contributing to fuel cycle innovations and international supply chain management. Rising through the ranks at Centrus, Vexler advanced to Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, before assuming the roles of President and CEO in September 2021. Under his leadership, the company has secured landmark contracts for low-enriched uranium (LEU) and advanced the development of high-assay low-enriched uranium (HALEU) production capabilities at its American Centrifuge Plant in Piketon, Ohio. His strategic vision has positioned Centrus as a leader in restoring U.S. domestic enrichment capacity, supporting national security and clean energy goals. Vexler's achievements include forging multi-year supply agreements with major utilities, expanding the company's technical solutions division, and navigating complex regulatory landscapes to advance next-generation nuclear technologies. A graduate of the University of Toronto with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, he remains committed to innovation, sustainability, and the resurgence of American nuclear leadership.
