Prior to joining lululemon, he served for five years as president and chief executive officer of Sephora Americas, a division of the LVMH group of luxury brands. Before Sephora, Mr. McDonald spent two years as president and chief executive officer of Sears Canada and 17 years at Loblaw Companies Limited, a leading grocery and pharmacy retailer in Canada. He currently serves on the board of directors of The Walt Disney Company. Mr. McDonald holds an MBA from the University of Toronto, and a B.S. from the University of Western Ontario.
