Robert K. Zeldin, M.D., is a distinguished physician-executive with over 25 years of experience in biopharmaceutical clinical development, specializing in rare diseases, immunology, and gene therapy. He earned his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine, followed by residency training in pediatrics and fellowship in allergy and clinical immunology at Mount Sinai Medical Center. As Chief Medical Officer at MeiraGTx Holdings plc, a clinical-stage gene therapy company, Dr. Zeldin oversees the end-to-end clinical development of the company’s AAV-based pipeline targeting ocular, salivary gland, neurologic, and metabolic diseases.
