Mr. Maeda is a well-known technologist, educator, and investor. Prior to Microsoft, John dedicated his career to advancing design and innovative technologies in risk management at Everbridge, early-stage startups at KleinerPerkins, and cloud publishing at Automattic. He also served as the 16th President of the Rhode Island School of Design and led research at the MIT Media Lab.
