Mr. Gershwind has served as our Chief Executive Officer since January 2013 and will continue to serve in the role until December 31, 2025. From January 2013 until September 2024, he also served as our President. From October 2009 to October 2011, Mr. Gershwind served as our Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and, from October 2011 to January 2013, he served as our President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Gershwind was elected by the Board to serve as a director in October 2010. Previously, Mr. Gershwind served as our Senior Vice President, Product Management and Marketing from December 2005 to October 2009 and as our Vice President of Product Management from April 2005 to December 2005. From August 2004 to April 2005, Mr. Gershwind served as Vice President of MRO and Inventory Management of the Company. Mr. Gershwind has held various positions of increasing responsibility in products, E-commerce and marketing since joining the Company in 1996 as manager of our acquisition integration initiative. Mr. Gershwind has held senior management positions responsible for key business functions of the Company and is a key contributor to our current strategy and success. In addition, as our Chief Executive Officer, he brings critical perspectives to the Board on our strategic direction and growth strategy. Mr. Gershwind is the nephew of Mitchell Jacobson, our Non-Executive Chairman of the Board. There are no other family relationships among any of our directors or executive officers.
