Mr. Chung has served as a director since December 2010. Mr. Chung is a Managing Director and the Chief Executive Officer of Summit Partners, L.P., which he joined in August 1994. Mr. Chung currently serves as a director and the chairman of the compensation committee of A10 Networks, Inc., a provider of application networking technologies. Mr. Chung has also served as a director of numerous other public companies, including, most recently, Acacia Communications, Inc., a provider of high-speed coherent optical interconnect products ( Acacia ) from April 2013 to March 2021 when it was acquired by Cisco Systems, Inc., a multinational digital communications technology conglomerate ( Cisco ), Ubiquiti Inc. ("Ubiquiti"), a developer of networking technology for service providers and enterprises, from March 2010 to October 2013, NightHawk, from March 2004 to December 2010, SeaBright Holdings, Inc., a provider of multijurisdictional workers' compensation insurance and general liability insurance, from October 2003 to May 2010, and Sirenza, from October 1999 to April 2006. Mr. Chung also serves as a director of several privately-held companies. Mr. Chung received an A.B. from Harvard University and an M.B.A. from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Mr. Chung is an experienced investor in market-leading growth companies. He contributes broad-based knowledge and experience in business strategy, capital markets and the communications technology and semiconductor industries.
