Mr. Botha has served as a member of our board of directors since 2007. Mr. Botha is a partner at Sequoia Capital, a venture capital firm, and has been with Sequoia Capital since 2003. From 2000 to 2003, Mr. Botha served in a number of roles at PayPal, Inc., ultimately as the chief financial officer. Mr. Botha currently serves on the board of directors of Block, Inc. (formerly Square, Inc.), a provider of payments, financial and marketing services; MongoDB, Inc., a document-oriented database program developer; Unity, Inc., a 3D and VR content development platform; and a number of private companies. Mr. Botha has previously served on the board of directors of 23andme, a personal genetics company, from September 2017 through September 2024; Bird Global, a last-mile electric vehicle sharing company, from May 2018 through December 2022; and Eventbrite, Inc., an event management and ticketing platform, from October 2009 through June 2022. Mr. Botha holds a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science, Economics, and Statistics from the University of Cape Town and an M.B.A. from Stanford University. Our board of directors believes that Mr. Botha is qualified to serve as a director based on his financial and managerial experience, his service on other public and private company boards of directors and his familiarity with technology companies. Mr. Botha is our Lead Independent Director and currently serves on our nominating, corporate governance and compliance committee.
